AT&T
Congratulations AT&T, you've managed to f#*! up Cingular. My Cingular phone used to work so well, and so much better than Laura's Verizon phone, that when we moved down to North Carolina and had to get Verizon phones (Cingular was just moving into the area)... I continued to pay for my Cingular plan on top of the Verizon plan for those 6 months, and then dropped the Verizon plan when the towers went live. And once again, it was VERY noticeably better than all of our friends Verizon phones. It worked in Fort Recovery, the ONLY cell service available in that area. It worked wonderfully every damn place I went... Alaska... Hawaii... Mexico... Hong Kong... Philippines... West... North... South... etc.
But now they've gone and merged with AT&T. About a month ago, the Cingular brand was replaced on my display with an AT&T display... I assume because they're switching towers over to the new service. Ever since that day... the service has been HORRIBLE. I can't remember the last conversation I've been able to actually finish... every time I make a damn call anymore it gets dropped. I've been talking to a friend online for about 45 minutes, and have had to call him back twice already... because in those 45 minutes, the call was lost 3 times.
Once their damn customer service lines open tomorrow morning, they'll be getting one hell of a call from me. Don is not so happy right now.
