Stupid Neck
So I just finished up 3 more months of physical therapy, and am now seeing a chiropractor about my neck. I got x-rays and other tests done on Friday, she went over them with me today. It appears as if it's gotten worse, instead of better over the past year. I still have multiple bulging discs, and spinal stenosis. Now, because that wasn't enough, I also have nerves pinched in multiple places, bone spurs on my spine, and because my neck has been so screwed up for so long, the rest of my spine is beginning to get screwed up trying to make up for the lack of structure in my neck.
The bone spurs are pretty much there for good... only way to remove them is with surgery, which I'm really hoping to avoid. But, she said she's pretty confident she can help with the rest of the problems, which in turn will prevent the bone spurs from getting any worse.
I'm doubtful, but what the hell have I got to lose?
In better news... I met James Laurinaitus and Chris "Beanie" Wells (Ohio State football players) this weekend and got some autographs! Woohoo!
